Browse Express is a high-performance, multi-purpose offshore vessel designed to meet the diverse needs of research, logistics, and commercial operations across Australia’s remote coastal and offshore regions. Originally built by Geraldton Boat Builders and extensively refitted to meet modern demands, she features a 19.7-metre aluminium single chine planning monohull and is powered by twin 1000hp engines, delivering top speeds of up to 29 knots for rapid response and extended endurance.

Fully certified to 1B survey standards and accredited by IMCA, OVID, and DNV ISO, Browse Express is equipped to support a broad range of operations including hydrographic surveys, crew transfers, scientific research, environmental and reef monitoring, ROV and drop camera deployment, dive support, mooring installation and maintenance, hotshots, and chase work.

The vessel accommodates up to 26 unberthed passengers or 8 berthed for extended stays and features a spacious, clear working deck with capacity for container transport. Heavy-duty equipment includes a 3-tonne crane, 5-tonne deck winch, and hydraulically operated A-frame, ensuring safe and efficient handling of technical deployments.

Onboard amenities include air-conditioned accommodation, a fully equipped galley, Foxtel, satellite internet, and a configurable survey room. With generous fuel capacity, desalination capability, and comfortable living spaces, Browse Express is ideally suited for long-duration operations in both nearshore sensitive areas and offshore waters.
